What Role Do You Give Your Audience?
Hello friend,
How are you? I hope you're doing well.
One important aspect of any visual story you share with your audience - is how well it's tuned towards relationship-building.
Be it via a video story, Webinar, in-person presentation or metaverse gathering, to make it a success, sometimes you want to take a step back and let your audience "hold the mic."
Why?
When you give your audience the freedom to share their perspectives, all kind of new stories and opportunities emerge.
Take for example, our recent networking event a few days ago: Visual Storytellers in Avatars Hanging Out - it was a blast!
Unlike our last event that focused on my presentation, this time around the focus was on free style networking.
It was great to hear what everybody was working on, offer advice and explore collaboration opportunities.
It works because when you put your audience as the hero of the story, you get so much more value.
It's all part of the evolution of transforming audiences from passive recipients of one-to-many communication into active many-to-many creators and stakeholders.
