Speaking of action, the AI sector was also full of activity. As always I’ll dig into one important event, this time coming from a big tech player.
The gist: Meta released Movie Gen a week ago, which can generate 16-second video clips. Users can personalize the video by uploading existing videos or images. This tool can also generate images and audio and provide editing capabilities. It was trained on “a combination of licensed and publicly available datasets.” The tool hasn’t yet been released to the public.
