Hello friend,
How are you? I hope you’re doing well.
The gist:
I know you’d agree with me; what’s going on these days with AI is confusing, exciting, and alarming all at the same time. Burst of imaginative AI-generated visuals, AI replacing jobs, an applicant tsunami, a trust crisis, evolving AI guidelines in education, and more. And like always, both good and bad actors take advantage. The irony is that when teachers/recruiters/decision-makers use AI to screen and students/applicants/sales reps use it to engage, the net effect is practically an LLM talking to itself… With this conflicting tug-and-pull narrative, “use AI to be more efficient, don’t use AI because it’s cheating,” I came across a recent MIT study that assesses the impact of using AI. The answer won’t surprise you. Although the study was conducted on a small sample size, it sure makes you re-examine your relationship with your prompt-hungry friend…
Find out why this is important to your personal development and growth, and what steps you can take to mitigate it.
